Made a Fellow

Springwood resident Allan Gatenby became Australia's second internationally accredited career planning practitioner recently.

Mr Gatenby was named a Career Management Fellow by the Institute for Career Certification (ICC) International in recognition of his contributions to leadership coaching and executive career transition.

ICC International is the only not-for-profit, global certifying body for professionals in the career management field.

"I am deeply honoured to be certified as a fellow by ICC International.  It recognises both professionalism and standard of service that throughout my career I have tried to maintain.  I have carried this commitment of quality into my current work with the Association of Career Professionals International," said Mr Gatenby.

The Blue Mountains resident designs and delivers professional development for the Association of Career Professionals (Australian Chapter) to ensure that career practitioners are able to establish and maintain appropriate professional standards.  This program is also well supported by C-F-S Career Management who provide the opportunity for trainee practitioners to gain practical experience.

In addition to his work with the association and C-F-S Career Management, Mr Gatenby also runs his own change management consultancy service, Sustainability Consultants.
